The Asia Pacific Social Forum (APSF) 2025 will host a series of parallel workshops from 2–4 November at Thammasat University, Bangkok, bringing together activists, academics, and civil society from across the region.
Around fifty workshops will address themes such as economic inequality, gender justice, peacebuilding, climate change, democracy, and human rights. Sessions like “Fighting Inequality to Reclaim Social and Economic Justice: Public Hearing on Tax, Trade and Inequality in the Asia-Pacific,” “NextGen Democracy,” “Gender Just Climate Solutions,” “Bandung to Gaza: Global South Solidarity for Palestine,” “Development, Global Citizenship and Human Rights: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) in Asia Pacific,” and “Feminist Economic Alternatives: Pathways for a Just Future” will spotlight regional struggles and solidarity.
The APSF 2025 aims to strengthen collective movements for justice, equality, and human rights across the Asia-Pacific region.
